Hi, Lynne Forsythe here....
and ooooh the fun I had with the Frog Dog Studio Mixed Media Kit!!
Here is my first creation!
I took 2 of pieces of the Stick on Canvas,
applied a layer of Viva Colour ~ Modeling Cream ~ Pearl
through a Snow Flake stencil I had,
randomly on the 2 sheets.
I then painted one sheet with
Luminarte ~ Silk Acrylic Glaze ~ Fern
and the other with
Luminarte ~ Silk Acrylic Glaze ~ African Jade.
When they were dry,
I cut the sheets into 1" x 1" pieces
and alternated between the two colors,
then adhered them to a canvas.
Using a bit of Archival Ink,
I stamped and stenciled on the canvas.
Then of course....there is the Flower....
I had ALWAYS wanted to play with the
Tim Holtz Fabrics....well I got my chance!!
I even used some of the packaging to create my flower!!
All painted with Luminarte ~ Silk Acrylic Glaze ~ Carmen.
What canvas is complete without a quote??
Keeping with the Christmas Theme...
I created a few ornaments.
Using pinking shears, I cut pieces of the fabric
3" x 1.5"
and painted them with
Luminarte ~ Silk Acrylic Glaze
Fern
Carmen and
African Jade.
Folded the strips in half and
pinched together at ends and stapled.
I applied a layer of Viva Colour ~ Modeling Cream ~ Pearl
to a diecut 2" circle
and pushed the colored fabric pieces into the Modeling Cream.
I then cut up the Woodland tree
and adhered to the center of the ornament.
HOPE YOU ENJOYED my creations made with
the December Frog Dog Studio Mixed Media Kit
featuring Splash of Color products!!
