Hi Everybody....
Lynne Forsythe here to share with you my
Happy Birthday creation
featuring
Viva Colour Pearl Pens,
Splash of Colors ~ Birthday Collection
Silk Acrylic Glaze and
May Arts Ribbons.
When my children were younger,
birthdays were a big deal!!
Lots of friends,
Homemade decorated birthday cakes
and lots of fun games...
Not that birthdays aren't still a big deal
they have just changed.
So, I had fun with my project...
thinking back on the days of old!
I created a BIRTHDAY SIGN!
I cut balloons from a piece of cardbard
and covered them with various patterned papers
from the Celebrate Collection,
along with the background of the sign.
I then chose 3 matching Luminarte Silks
Ginger Flower
Pretty Peridot
Mediterrian Blue
and I began to paint...
I stenciled with the colors...
....colored the white May Arts Ric Rac ribbon with them.
....colored Mini Pearl Daises with them....
I even pulled out some "vintage" Thickers and
colored them to match!
I then cut out the Happy Birthday "banner" pieces
to finish off the sign
And did you see the "Pearl Drops"
i created on the sign??
My creattion sure brough back WONDERFUL memories...
