'Tis the season for cute decor!
I have been really excited to create something with the glass domes that are made by Ranger. The vintage inspired images on the Frolic paper were perfect!
I smeared in some Viva Color Magic Transparent Blue shimmer inside the dome.
Then I used the beautifully pearled Modeling Creme to create snow drifts in the domes and on the background.
Then I traced the dome shape on the Frolic paper, cut it out and put more Viva Transparent Blue on the images. When it was all dry I put it together and added some May Arts lace ribbon.
The other images in the shadow box are from the collage sheet: Vintage Christmas.
Here it is again finished with: May Arts 1/8th Inch Silk Ribbon
Tricolor seasonal twine
Black plastic letters with German Glitter Pen
seasonal found objects (santa hat, etc)
Blue sequins
Light Siam Swarovski Crystals

The domes are by Ranger (Tim Holtz). I want some for every holiday! Also, I laid the dome in the paper and traced around it to get the right shape. I trimmed it until it needed to be bent a little inside but not touching the glass. Let me know if anyone has a question!
