You may have heard me say
once or twice....
I'm not a big fan of Halloween.
...so I wanted to challenge myself to
to create with "Halloween"!
I chose to use Marah Johnson's
Vintage Hallows Eve Collage Sheet....
I cut out a few images....
and this is what i came up with!!
....but I do have to say....
I LOVE the way the background came out!
I applied a layer of Viva Colour ~ Crackle Base for Porous Surfaces
onto a Black Corrugated ATC.
When it was dry...
I folded in a smidge of Luminarte Primary Elements
Bolivian Blue
Chestnut Brown
and Autumn Butternut
with Viva Colour ~ Cracke Paint ~ White
not mixing thoroughly.
I layered on a HEAVY layer of my mixture.
....the more Crackle....the bigger CRACKS!!
While still wet, I sprinkled on a bit of each,
Luminarte Primary Elements
Golden Nugget and
Spiced Pumpkin
and gave it a QUICK spritz of water,
then sat it aside to dry.
It looks SOOO COOL...
don't you agree??!??!
....and the pieces parts
from the Vintage Hallows Collage Sheet
worked together well!!!
I hope I've encouraged you to work with
something that your are either unfamiliar with
or uncomfortable with....You may just surprise yourself
I DID!!!
