Heather here with another fun Inky Art project using the May Arts ribbon and our paints! May Arts wide, wired ribbon has endless possibilities!
I started with our Primary Elements-Artist Pigments in Rose Gold and the Acrylic Medium to create the irregular coverage of color.
I think it makes the ribbon look silky. It was the perfect finish to this canvas because it helps bring out the roses next to the Vintage Beauty from our Paper Goods collage sheets!
Don't miss out on the touch of bling that far out-sparkles plastic rhinestones, Swavroski crystal!
For this crafty necklace (or bracelet), I used the same ribbon. I dipped it in Luminarte Radiant Rain Pewter. The beads are wood that I soaked in Radiant Rain (several different magentas would work), painted them with Viva Colour Precious Metal Effects Pearl, and brushed on some Viva Colour Transparent Pearl Pen. Its so simple, try it!
Keep posting your comments all day on our blog for a chance to win our paints and May Arts ribbons! But wait there is more, tomorrow the May Arts design team will be posting their projects all day on the May Arts blog! We will be posting our winners before the opening of the CHA Summer event in Las Vegas!
Enjoy the Blog Hop. Go nuts! -heather kindt
Heather, beautiful work! Can't believe those beads are wood - they look real. Love the little mannequin with the ruffly bum, too!

Wow! It just dyes these ribbons right up! Its nice to have quality ribbon to work with! Now that I have had my hands on some, I know that May Arts stands above everything else when it comes to ribbons and trim. Superb quality! The bracelet/necklace is darling!
