Hello again! I am so excited to share with you another one of my Tags using my Catherine Moore’s Character Construction Stamps and Splash of Color products.
I wanted to make my mermaid look like she was swimming!
Making her was fun and easy - First, I mixed Viva Colour Inka Gold~blue with a little bit of Inka Gold - Haematite {black} and painted it on cardstock. I cut it out to look like waves and layered it on another piece of cardstock.
Using my Character Construction's "She Sells Sea Shells" Stamps and stamped the mermaid onto cardstock. Her tail was painted with Viva Colour Inka Gold~green. I mixed Viva Colour Modeling Cream~pearl with Luminarte Primary Elements.
I applied the Modeling Cream over The Crafter's Workshop Quartrefoil stencil with a pallet knife. It is so easy to do and it dries so fast.
Her hair was easy! I added dimension to her hair using Viva Colour Pearl Pen~sunny yellow and to add the decorations in her hair too!. They give such a great raised effect and dry so quickly. The seahorse, starfish and sand dollar was die cut using Provo Craft dies. They were than rubbed with Viva Colour Inka Gold~copper for the seahorse, gold for the starfish and Old Silver for the sand dollar.
I just love Splash of Color products as they make creating so easy and so much more fun!
The waves make it have so much depth! It's like a sculpture. I love it! Keep creating and thanks for sharing :)
