Hey scrappers, Donna here, sharing a couple of quick and easy layered ATC's to celebrate winter. These are such fun little gems to be creative with.............
I wanted to make my ATCs a bit thick this time around, so I decided to layer them up with dimensional foam tape. The end result was thick, colorful, and fun! I used the same papers and stickers for both ATC's this month, too.
On my first, "Let it Snow", I began by layering two (2) ATC bases together off to an angle. I did some fussy cutting with a piece of Christine Adloph's Joyful stripe paper and then layered those pieces at the bottom of the top ATC and then lightly brushed gesso over all.
I then layered twine (attached with staples), a punched circles from the same paper, a butterfly, stickers, a button and a big paper clip. To complete the card, I applied a bit of glitter paint to the snowflakes and a date at the bottom.
For my second ATC, "Keep Cozy", I again used two (2) ATC bases, but this time, cut one of the into two pieces and then layered them together off to an angle but, before adhering the pieces together, I lightly rubbed some Inka Gold Metallic Rub around all of the edges - loved the way the lime green popped off of the black base.
I then stapled a cut up piece of a transparent die cut to the top and bottom, layered a few stickers and buttons and wrapped a piece of pretty lace around all and the ATC was complete.
