I created these little beauties with a very sad heart.
They are to commerate the passing of my friend's father.
I made one for all the girls in the family!!
I am a person who like litte momentos to remember occasions....
So, I thought I would create something beautiful
to remember such a sad day!!
I began my creation with a piece Paint It paper.....
that I covered with various Luminarte ~ Twinkling H20's.
Then cut 3.5 x 2.5 to create my ATC backs.
Using Tim Holtz ~ Mini Heart Set, I cut four of the larger heart
from two pieces of Corrugated Kraft ATC's.
With the smaller heart, I cut 4 hearts from
one piece of Birch ATC.
This is where the fun began!!
I mixed up a batch of Hot Cinnamon and Coral Berry ~ Primary Elements.
Making sure to have equal parts of Primary Elements and Bind and Resist
with a dash of water.
(if you don't use the Bind and Resist....
all the beautiful Mica will just fall off!!!)
I randomly painted Hot Cinnamon on the
corrugated heart and spritzed with water
for better coverage!
When dry I randomly painted on
Snap Dragon ~ Luminarte Silk Acrylic Glaze.
For the smaller heart, I painted on
Emperor's Gold ~ Luminarte Silk Acrylic Glaze,
when dry I painted on the Coral Berry.
To finish up my little grouping I used my Primary Element mixtures
to color the Color Me Crazy flowers.
The leaves were colored using
Spanish Moss ~ Luminarte Radiant Rain Shimmering Mist
and Olive Vine ~ Luminarte Silk Acrylic Glaze.
On the back of each ATC I stamped my favorite saying......
"We do not remember days,
We remember moments"
Cesare Pavese
Be sure to tell those that you hold dear to your heart....
that you LOVE THEM!!!
