Our first post was created by design team coordinator, Cheryl Mezzetti. Cheryl created a beautiful mixed media canvas book using several LuminArte Twinkling H20's and the Memory Box Inspire Butterfly Stamp
Supplies:
- 2 4"x6" canvas mat boards
- Memory Box G1352 Inspire Butterfly stamp
- LuminArte Twinkling H20's in the following colors:
- Twinkling H20 Mediteranean Blue
- Twinkling H20 Majestic Blue
- Twinkling H20 Guaemalan Green
- Twinkling H20 Spiced Pumpkin
- Twinkling H20 Sunburst
- Old music and dictionary papers
- Cream Canvas paper
- Bazzill Cream cardstock
- gesso
- Stazon stamp pad - black
- Modge podge matte
- White/black detail pens
- Petaloo Color me Crazy Mini Rose Clusters
- fabric trims
- Wash brushes
- Twinkling H20 Mediteranean Blue
Instructions:
- Gesso both canvas mat boards and let dry.
- Adhere dictionary pages, sheet music or old patterns to both canvas mat boards using Modge Podge - let dry completey. {Note it may bubble a bit - do not be concerned}
- Using LuminArte Twinkling H20's add a wash on both sides of the canvas. Let dry
- Stamp the Memory Box Inspire Butterfly onto a piece of Canvas using a black stazon ink pad. Color in the stamped image using LuminArte Twinkling H20's - let dry completely.
- Stamp the "inspire" sentiment onto a piece of scrap cardstock. Add LuminArte Twinkling H20's to sentiment.
- Adhere the stamped butterfly image to book adding a scrap of eyelet trim along bottom. Adhere Inspire sentiment using foam tape.
- Cut one piece of cream Bazzill paper 6"x12", scoring every 4". Cut a second piece of cardstock 6"x9" score at 1/2", 4.5" and 8.5" attaching the second piece of cardstock.
- Rip a piece of white material 2" wide. Adhere both 4" ends to the canvas mat board creating an accordian book slipping the material behind cardstock on inside front cover only.
- Decorate inside and tie shut!

I bought these twinkling h2o's a few months ago, but hadn't played with them yet. Do you think my work would understand when I couldn't make it because of a "creative emergency?" Thanks for the inspiration.
