Introducing New Sakura Collection! Look for this beautiful new collection in stores this March!
I have always been inspired by textiles, particularly Japanese Kimono's. When I was an art student I spent a lot of time in the textile section of our local art museum sketching kimono patterns. The combination of different scales of patterns and textures flowing together, all hand painted, printed and woven to perfection. I was mesmerized by them. Sakura is the Japanese word for Cherry Blossom and I love the traditional cherry blossom motif and peony patterns that are abundant in Japanese decorative art. I spent a lot of time in the development stage of this collections and worked hard to make a beautiful color palette. It's exciting to see it come to fruition. I can't wait to see how it is used for cards and scrapbook layouts. I hope you enjoy working with it as much as I enjoyed designing it. ~Christine Adolph
