Keep up all the posts on our blog for more chances to win! Today's winner of our $25.00 giveaway is Ellen S "oh you had me at happy hour at the creative cafe!"
Design Team Member Jen Davis had fun making up this little cocoa/treat holder using a mix of holiday papers from Debbie Mumm's Sledding Hill collection and Art Warehouse's Mistletoe collection. She's even provided some step-by-step, easy instructions for you!
Supplies
- kraft cardstock cut to measure 4 1/4 inches by 11 1/2 inches
- Debbie Mumm's Sledding Hill Glistening Glitter Paper
- Art Warehouse's Msitletoe Ledger Paper
-
Art Warehouse's Mistletoe Ribbon
- Creative Cafe's Pearl Gem Pack
- scalloped edged cardstock (or make your own w/border punch)
- holiday stamped images or clip art
- 3 dimensional adhesive and adhesive runner
- paper trimmer w/scoring blade
- circle cutting system or punch
Instructions
To
create the base of the cocoa pack, score your piece of cardstock measuring 4
1/4 inches by 11 1/2 inches at 1 1/2 inch, 6 1/2 inches and again at 7
inches. The 1 1/2 inch score line will be your front small flap.
Using your circle cutting system (I use the Coluzzle cutting system) cut your
circle on what will be your front of the cocoa pack, closer to the bottom
allowing your top flap to flap over without being interfered. Cut another
circle out of the patterned paper that you want to decorate the front of your
cocoa pack and adhere using your adhesive runner. Adhere your contrasting
patterned paper to the small top flap and add a scalloped border along the
bottom of your flap. Attach ribbon along where it is that you attached
your scalloped border and tie a bow for the front. Stamp your image (or
print your clip art) and color as desired. Adhere slightly overlapping
your circle window using 3 dimensional adhesive. You are now done!
Add a baggie of cocoa to the inside (securing with adhseive) or a special
handmade treat and you have a special little something to give away this
holiday season!
Argh =#1 is never good but since you mentioned my very favorite Art Warehouse I'm stepping up to the plate. I love the Mistletoe collection but I have to tell you the Halloween collection was the stuff my dreams are made of!

What a cute gift! Looks great, and sounds good too (hot cocoa on this rainy cold night would be perfect)!
You know - I had no idea that CI has all these different collections - I know you from my favorite Creative Cafe goodies and from Art Warehouse - but I didn't realize you had so many different lines.
Good luck to all your readers - these next few days are going to be SO good.
