Jodi Ohl here and I have lots of thoughts about 2013 and beyond but I'm going to table that post to bring you a SWEET treat! Yay...let's start the New Year off right by giving away a tuition for my next class, "Twinks on Yupo" (hosted over at Dreaming Color ) which starts January 11th and run 4 weeks but will be self study for a 12 month time frame from when you sign up so you will have PLENTY of time to work on the projects...but why not join in right from the beginning and play along with us!

We will learn all sorts of ways to use Yupo paper, engrossing ourselves to the beauty of bright water media compositions. Tips, tricks, techniques and lessons in texture are just some of the topics we will be working on for this class. In addition, I will also show you ways to use Yupo with traditional watercolors in an abstract way and combining both regular watercolors with Twinkling H20s. This is a one of a kind opportunity to really enhance your skills and work on a substrate that very few work on let alone understand!

My crafty goal in 2013 is to practice, practice, practice. I'm specifically looking to improve my faces - noses are SO hard - and shading.

I just got some Twinkling H20's for Christmas and I am in love. Why did I wait so long to try these out?? I want to add a bit to everything I am creating right now. My goal in 2013 craft wise is to get back into mixed media a bit and incorporate digital stamps into the mix. Thanks for the chance!!

My goal for this year is to take at least one class featuring Twinks. This is it! I use my Twinks with my rubber stamping, and want to increase the ways I use them.

My artistic goal for 2013 is to figure out how I can demonstrate and teach classes locally using twinks, silks, rains, etc. These products are so much fun! I have never used yupo paper, but would appreciate the opportunity to learn!

I hope that 2013 I will start for the 1st time an art journal which will have a calendar theme. My Local art store owner is a leader which is influencing me with all of her creativity. Sharing with other young artists as well.

Gorgeous colors! I watch all your updates on all of your art. Complete inspiration! Thank you. Love to take some of your classes. I have made a list of unique things that I want to create and alter in the next few months. As my son says "you twinkling again?" Lol Yep I use my Luminarte twinkling h2o's on each and every project. There is always a twinkle in my eye when I use my twinkling h2o's. That's a bunch twinkling going on. Lol.

I just ordered the whole set of twinkling H2o's and the acrylic glaze. I am having a great time fooling around with them, but I think having a little direction would probably go a long way....I also love doing collage and would really like to learn to use the yupo paper. Thanks

My artistic goal is to start combining all my different arts and crafts supplies and techniques into mixed media projects. I seriously have a huge stash of stuff, including yupo. And I just ordered several sets of twinks this week as I want to see how they might work as underpaintings for encaustic paintings. So this class would be perfect to introduce me to twinks and watercolors. Thanks so much for the opportunity!
