Hello Everyone my name is Lynn Kopas and I am beyond thrilled to be a part of the incredibly talented design team here at Creative Imaginations!!! Currently I live in Massachusetts and work full-time in the medical field. Here's me and a bit about me ...
I LOVE photography and have been behind a camera since Junior High School. Growing up I was fortunate to have a professional photographer as a neighbor. I started scrapbooking almost five years ago and LOVE how the two hobbies meld together perfectly!! Scrapbooking provides a creative outlet and is a great way to unwind from a hectic day. I love the social aspect of this hobby and have met some amazing people, many of whom have become close friends.
When I was younger my pets were the subjects of my photography and now the children in my life have become my scrapbooking inspiration. My favorite little people include my niece’s children and Joshua my best little friend who you will see … a lot !!! My incredible yellow lab and two cats will also appear on some projects.
I am looking forward to being a part of the talented team here at Creative Imaginations and I can’t wait to dive into the fabulous products and get messy with Luminarte !!
For my project I used a FUN new collection call Tea Time from Renae' Lindgren. I love the Spring feel to these papers and the coordinationg epoxy and layer stickers are adorable. My love of teas became the subject for my page .... I hand cut the banner from the Tea Party paper and used that as my title ...
Directions for "Tea Party" :
1. Cut a 11.5 x 11.5" piece of "Tea Time" and adhere to center of white cardstock. (I distressed and inked the edges of the papers)
2. Cut a 10 x 8" piece of "Gala" Gingham Basics Cardstock and center 1.0" inch from top of page.
3. Add three 2x3" photos at the top of the Gingham Cardstock.
4. I hand cut the banner from the "Tea Party" paper and attached below the photos with foam tape. I hand cut a few teacups from the "Tea Time " paper and added them to the banner along with some twine and Petaloo flowers. I also hand cut a small spoon and placed it on the center photo for fun !!
5. I adhered some epoxy stickers from the collection with foam tape and placed my journaling between the stickers.
6. I originally printed my journaling on textured white cardstock and as I was placing the text on my page the journaling strips seemed flat. I reprinted the text and spritzed the whole page with Radiant Rain Shimmering Mist which added more detail.
I also added some glossy accents to the title which ties in well with the epoxy stickers ... here's a close-up although I'm not sure how well it shows up in this photo ...
