Wow! It has never been easier to make a fantastic female ATC as it is now!
The background can be anything! I started with some of my favorite Luminarte Acrylic Silks and Twinkling H20 colors and painted a bunch of backgrounds in one shot. Then I collaged on diecuts and other funky paper.
To get the faces ready there is some fussy cutting involved. Luckily, I'm not too fussy and considered the lines to be suggestions. If the hair is too detailed to cut, just smooth over the edges. Go slow along the face, but the clothes, hair, flowers and accessories can loose a little edge detail and still look great!
What about cutting out open space like between an arm and the body? My method is the unthinkable! Cut through the arm, cut out the space for the open part, and glue the arm pieces touching each other when they are going onto their surface. Noone will ever know!
