Hey scrappers! Donna here, sharing an October ATC – Joy & Love!! This month, I was in the mood to stick with a two (2) color scheme. As much as I adore color, I love sticking with one or two colors every so often, and usually end up loving the end result. No surprise, that was the case here.....
I ended up creating with the Antique and Loolah Collections, which offered me the two colors I was in the mood for - black and ivory. The subtle, gentle die cut designs ike flowers, hearts and butterflies from the Antiue ATC pack are so soft and romantic.
You’ll note lots of dimension playing around on this ATC. And look closely - I’ve layered my black dotted ATC base over two (2) separate, ATC die cut frames at different angles. The base is on a frame from the Loolah pack and then that is on to a die cut frame from the Antique ATC pack.
When my base was complete, I stapled a small, frayed piece of canvas on to it. After that, it was simply all kinds o fun arranging and layering all of the different different bits and pieces of die cuts on the canvas. Some are popped up with foam adhesive, others are not. I adore the small, black heart........theres a bit of tiny black bling in there, too.......on the butterfly's body and the flower centers.
TIPS: To make your butterfly look ilke its in flight, fold it in half and then play with it a bit to get some dimension. Adhere it to your project with foam adhesive. Run the thread through your buttons before you glue them on your project.
For my title, I cut up a word sticker from the Ragamuffin collection then arranged it in the upper right corner of the ATC. Lastly, I wrapped some twine around the bottom of the ATC.

Give a two color ATC a try, and thanks for stopping by!!
