Good morning! This is Alicia, and I have really been short on time lately so I've been just scrapping a few minutes here and there lately. I literally threw this page together before church on Sunday morning while I was waiting for my girls to get done in the bathroom.
The first thing I did was to take the Tea Party Stripes DS paper and cut around the pretty scallops and placed it vertical on my page. I then found these three photos of my daughter, two of which are silly, and one is serious. I matted them and placed them horizontally on my page. I really love Samantha Walker's pansies and sunflowers and decided to hand-cut several of them and place them around my strip of photos. I also added a strip of the Tea Party Stripes paper under my photo strip. At this point, my page needed a little something extra so I chose to use the beautiful back side of the Blue Pansies paper as my background, but to make the varying patterns stand out some, I added the gray piece of cardstock (10X10) under the first part of my page that I put together. I added a title strip from the IOD Beloved collection for my title. I added journaling and some Maya Road ribbon for extra color and my page came together before I went to church.
Being short on time, you can still create a very simple, but striking page, with these beautiful CI collections.
