Hey Scrappers, Donna here, sharing a mini, mini book project I created using Samantha Walker’s Nautical collection.
One of the many things I love about Creative Imaginations' collections are that they contain everything needed to create a project with, whether that be a layout, a mini album or an altered item – the papers, the chipboard (the chipboard buttons look so real!!!), the stickers and the die cuts. They all work together beautifully and often there is no need to add any other product but maybe some ribbons if you are in the mood! And that is just what I've done with this project - my Nautical mini, mini book.
The book base is plain chipboard and measures about 4” x 2-1/2”. I covered some of the pages with patterned papers and a few pages, completely with photos. I used Twinkling H20’s to paint the inside back and front covers as well as the edges of the book. The rest of the book is created completely with items from the Nautical collection, each page a sampling of paper, bits of chipboard, die cuts and stickers, all working together beautifully, one layer at a time!
Here, I cut a circle die cut in half and layered it over a sticker on the right.
I adhered the remaining half of the circle die cut to its back side.
More fun layering of chipboard flowers, buttons and a die cut star fish!
Again, layering of die cuts and chipboard pieces.
I painted my cardtock stickers here with PoppyTwinkling H20.
After binding all pages with two, small rings, I tied two pieces of ribbon through the rings and my mini, mini was done!
Trying creating with a complete Creative Imaginations collection! You'll be glad you did!
