Hello there, it's Eva here today. I have some creations to share with you using the newest Christine Adolph line, the Sakura. This is one beautiful line. Full of lively colors and gorgeous designs. Hope you find these in the stores very soon.
I created an altered project for my first item using the Aaron Bare Elements box, which is perfect, as you can tuck so many things inside, in my case cards. I also used Luminarte Twinkling H2O's to paint my project and some acrylic paint.
I first Mod podged my box and added old dress pattern paper just to layer all my painting and papers on. Then I painted her face and feet with acrylic paint and hand cut her dress out of the Sakura papers. Painted everywhere with the Twinkling H2O's including the My Favorite Things Die-namics doily. I handcut some of the pretty branches from the patterend paper and just kept layering it. I also did a little stamping, for which I used Ippity stamps by Unity Stamp Co. You can see on this picture some of the layering I added.
I added some of the die cut lanterns and in her hair some of the small diecut flowers, which were just perfect size. As a final touch I typed up my sentiment using a distressed font and after I printed it out I painted it in with more pretty Twinkling H2O's. Hope you like it.
My next project is a card made with the same Sakura line once again. I used both the papers and the diecuts, in this case the label, which I stamped Samantha Walker's Unity Stamp Co. stamp sentiment on, as it just fit the image perfect.
