I am thrilled to announce my soon to be released line: "Blossom" for Creative Imaginations. This line will debut at Winter CHA in Los Angeles and is the little sister to my extensive Enchanted Garden Fabric collection for Riley Blake Designs. The two lines will coordinate seamlessly together, so... if you want, you can hunt down the fabric to use on your paper projects for a fun mix and match effect. Surprise, there are already some coordinating digital dies in my portfolio in the Silhouette download store to use with this line in your projects...AND matching rubber stamps through Unity Stamp company. But wait...there's more...(Oh no, not the set Ginzu steak knives) but rather, there are 4 coordinating wall tins that go on sale to retailers this weekend at the Gift Market in Atlanta sold through VIP international, look for them at a home decor boutique near you. (Okay, only the over 30 somethings might understand the Ginzu knife reference.)
More about the collection:
In the Blossom scrapbook collection, you will be treated to coordinating double sided card-stock, stickers, epoxies, and die cuts. You can see examples of how fabric can be used on paper projects by my Creative Team members in our blog hop post below.
Inspirations behind it all:
The flower designs were inspired by antique lace doilies, and my favorite childhood wallpaper in the bedroom where my sister and I shared a bunk bed. The wall paper was a typical 70's flower power pattern with big orange and pink flowers, and blue birds. The colors of the 70's are so cheerful, bold and carefree. My Mom was so hip to put that wallpaper up in my room. Forgive me Mom for ripping a huge hole in the wallpaper when I was a little girl. There was a little "lift" in the wallpaper at the seam, and it was just so tempting as a girl to "help it along." I really did love the wallpaper! Anyway...enough with all that background info. I hope that I was able to replicate a unique modern spin on an antique-retro feeling. Let me know if this line sparks any feelings in you...I want to hear what you think!
Inspiring projects:
You won't want to miss what the Creative Imaginations Design team has done with my paper line. Design Team member Jen Davis really captured the beautiful papers using some photos of her daughter Zoey!
The design team has been working so hard to create many beautiful things for this upcoming CHA, and I know that they would appreciate your comments and feedback!
Beautiful beautiful! The colors are so vivid and I of course love the floral pattern. Hopefully I will be lucky enough to have some soon!

Fabulous layout! These papers are a must have. Although, getting these papers would mean I'd have to cave on the temptation to get the butterfly garden unity stamps...twist my arm, why don't you? :)

I don't do a lot of flowery things, I have boys, but that blue color would work for me for Spring layouts. Very pretty collection.

Beautiful collection! It makes me feel like Spring is right around the corner... and that's no small feat with -20c temps lately here in Alberta, Canada. Well, all the better to stay in and start to scrap.
