Back in summer 07 while in Chicago at CHA, Marah Johnson and Christine Adolph had a brainstorm after talking with some sales reps about how their design styles complimented each other. After the show they started concepting the idea of Melange. Melange essentially means a "mixture" and this is exactly what you will find in this brand. We take Marah's edgy rock and roll style (think skulls and guitars) and combined it with Christine Adolph's textures, swirls and butterflies and there you have Melange. They had a soft launch of the brand at the summer CHA08 show with a few holiday collections. Their real "baby" will be introduced at the coming CHAwinter 09 show though. So here it is. This collection is called "Rock a Bye Baby". We are super excited about it. Here is a little sneak peak. (Photos by Marah Johnson)
