Suddenly, it is the end of August and the kids are gearing up for the beginning of a new school year. My oldest is headed back to college for this senior year, my youngest is entering first grade, and my middle {the subject of this layout} is more than ready for third grade. She's been counting down the days since the first week of August and can't wait to get back to her school friends and her daily routine. She is a good student who truly enjoys school, and is excited about everything she is going to learn in third grade.
As for me, I am heading back to school too -- I have accepted a position within the high school and will be working in the library full time this year.
I tried to catch some of my daughter's excitement and enthusiasm for school in the photographs I used for this layout, and enjoyed all the fun "school tool" - themed embellishments that coordinate with Barb Tourtillotte's new "It's Elementary" collection.
Creative Imaginations offers a number of unique school-themed collections that will be perfect for your back to school pages.
